question about Copy-ISItemSQLToFile function

Aug 23, 2012 at 1:16 AM

i'm on a win7 machine.  SQL server is 2005.

on my win7 machine, i would provide it the following:

import-module SSIS

copy-isitemsqltofile -path '\Sky' -topLevelFolder 'MSDB' -serverName 'some_server' -destination 'c:\temp\mktsql1\SSIS\Sky' -recurse $true

I'm able to talk to "some_server" and connect to the SSIS instance.  When running the above code, I get:

Package \Sky does not exist on server some_server At C:\Users\userA\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\Modules\SSIS\SSIS.psm1:289 char:12+     { throw <<<<  "Package $path does not exist on server $serverName" }    + CategoryInfo          : OperationStopped: (Package \Sky do... server mkt1sql:String) [], RuntimeException    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Package \Sky does not exist on server some_server

any suggestions?

Thanks,

Coordinator

Are you able to run the following command?

get-isitem -path '\Sky' -topLevelFolder 'MSDB' -serverName 'some_server' -recurse
